MARTAC to supply USVs to Taiwan Coast Guard (opens in a new tab)
The Taiwan Coast Guard Administration (CGA) is acquiring Devil Ray T24 unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) from MARTAC, a Florida-based company. MARTAC will collaborate with Taiwanese firms Confucian and NCSIST to deliver the USVs, with initial production in Florida and later assembly in Taiwan. The T24 USV measures 8.4 meters, has a top speed of 50 knots, and can carry 816 kg of payload. This procurement marks Taiwan’s first USV program for the CGA.
