Bulwark Dynamics raises $6.8 million, plans autonomous vessel production in Japan (opens in a new tab)
Bulwark Dynamics, a California-based autonomous vessel company, secured $6.8 million in seed funding to expand production and development. The company partnered with Japan’s Onomichi Dockyard to manufacture its Caravel autonomous landing craft, with plans to establish a dedicated production site in Japan. The Caravel is designed for unmanned cargo transport, capable of autonomous transit, beach landings, and offloading in GPS-denied environments. Bulwark aims to serve military logistics and civilian disaster relief, with 15', 35', and 55' variants in development.
