Ferguson Marine shipyard is exploring the development of autonomous warships for the defense sector, as discussed in recent board meetings. The UK government plans to invest £1.3 billion in a "hybrid navy," combining traditional and uncrewed vessels. Ferguson Marine is considering leveraging its heritage, local support, and potential partnerships to enter this market.
